PT. KPB Nusantara is a subcompany of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara I - PT Perkebunan Nusantara XIV and PT. Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia (PT. RNI) commisioned manage marketing of plantation commodity which produced by PT. Perkebunan Nusantara I - PT Perkebunan Nusantara XIV and PT. Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia (PT. RNI).
PT. KPB Nusantara was established under Notarial Deed of N. M. Dipo Nusantara Pua Upa, S.H No. 4 of November 16, 2009, and ratified by the Minister for Law & Human Rights under Decision No. AHU-60488.AH.01.01.Tahun 2009 on December 11, 2009.
The above proceeded in accordance with the provisions set forth in Law No. 40 of 2007 relating to Limited Liability Companies (UU No. 40 Tahun 2007), under Decision of Board of Directors Meeting (BMD) of August 14, 2009, and under Agreement of Ministry of State Owned Entreprise of September 30, 2009 No. S-674/MBU/2009.
The main commodities, such as Palm Oil, Rubber, Latex, Tea, Coffee, Cocoa, and Molasses are selling in both domestic and overseas markets.
The sales of commodities is done by launching tender, auction and negotiation based on the price of the international commodity rates, as they held in London, Rotterdam, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Tokyo, New York, etc. The tender sales are carried out regularly, especially for CPO, rubber, molasses, and tea while other commodities will depend on the available quantity for minimum container load.
